Page view counts for last two weeks of Dec 2012 and first week of Jan 2013 were broken (much bogus traffic). Data for these weeks have been omitted and monthly figures have been extrapolated from data for unaffected days.

Actually 'page requests' for now would be more a accurate report title than 'page views'.
Filtering these bot requests is planned, but awaits a solution that doesn't overload our servers.
Overall about 15% of pages served on all Wikimedia wikis combined are due to bots requests. On less popular wikis the share of bot requests will be higher.
